Moov is a new bouldering gym in Upper Austria, built around community, movement, and accessibility.

The logo needed to feel inviting and inclusive, playful yet confident — modern and minimal, distinct from typical climbing visuals.

The Challenge

Capture the essence of bouldering without obvious symbols.

Existing gym brands rely on dated clichés — extreme athletes, neon accents, literal climbing imagery. Moov needed to stand apart: inviting yet confident, playful yet serious. The key challenge was capturing the spirit of climbing without defaulting to the obvious.

The Approach

Refined toward something human and expressive.

We explored geometric and abstract directions, then refined toward a more human, expressive identity. Through close collaboration, a custom wordmark emerged — balancing flow and structure, personality and simplicity, energy and clarity.
